Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a well-established services business in their search for a Financial Controller to work out of their office based in Kirkby on an initial 12-month fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a strong academic background. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of assisting with a systems implementation would be a distinct advantage. Any exposure to working within a group structure would be preferable. The ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders is essential and you will need to be adept at communicating with non-finance personnel. Key duties for the Financial Controller role will involve:
- Submission of monthly results to the group
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Cashflow management
- Oversee statutory accounts production
- Assist with the implementation of an ERP system
- Review of working capital
- Weekly sales reporting
- Management of small finance team
- Project work
Salary for the role is anywhere between £70,000 and £80,000 + benefits.
