FP&A Analyst - Insurance (6 month Contract)

A fantastic opportunity for a specialist financial planning & analysis contractor to join a to join a fast paced, rapidly growing insurance firm and make a real difference to their business!

Daily rate - £400-450pd via umbrella depending on experience

Hybrid working, 3 days in the office

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the FP&A Manager with updating the budgets and forecasts
  • Provide variance analysis and commentary against monthly results
  • Prepare Board and Exco reporting packs
  • Help with the development of performance reporting and KPIs, building new dashboard reports and data analytics
  • Maintain data for Management Information reporting
  • Financial modelling in excel and providing insightful analysis
  • Support with projects involving a system implementation and new processes

What we are looking for in the candidate:

  • Must be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, CPA, ACA)
  • Must have 3+ years FP&A experience within the Insurance Industry
  • Advanced excel skills required, used to building models, formulae, automating tasks
  • Excellent communication skills

This role will suit a strong financial analyst with some insurance sector experience.
