Start your job searchA private equity fund focused on Credit opportunities have an exciting opportunity for a Fund Accountant to join their growing business.
This is a hybrid working role where you will be in part in the office but have flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week.
The firm are going through a growth spurt, now managing £5Bn+ AUM in Debt Funds. y are going through an exciting phase of development including restructuring, adding resource and driving a finance transformation project which will ultimately lead to a more value adding finance and operations department.
The accounting and operations team sit and work very closely with the front office/transaction team and are an integral part of the business.
Key responsibilities for this role may include:
- Constructing the month end finance packs
- Producing drawdowns and distributions
- Prepare quarterly reports
- Preparing statutory accounts in accordance to the LPA's
- Monitoring daily liquidity and treasury aspects
- Responding to investor queries
- Reviewing fund mandates and investment legal documentation to ensure that funds are compliant
- Helping out with a finance change project
What they are looking for in a candidate?
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA)
- Current experience/knowledge of debt/credit/private equity funds
- Have either in a similar in-house fund accounting role or working with a fund administrator who deals with debt or PE funds
- Commercially minded, self-starter and able to challenge the status quo
Salary: £60,000 -£75,000 + bonus/benefits depending on your level of experience
