Start your job searchWe are seeking experienced Private Equity Fund Accountants/Controllers for long term contracts? Have you thought about making a jump into the world of contracting from a permanent position, but not quite sure how to make the transition?
I'm working with a large private equity firm who are going from strength to stength and require experienced and conscientious professionals to join, who are seeking the flexibility and benefits of contracting but who can bring their fund accouting/fund controlling expertise to the table.
This is a hybrid working role where you will be in part in the office but have flexibility to work from home.
The wider business is going through an exciting phase of development, adding new investment strategies through organic growth and acquisition. The fund finance and operations teams are an integral to supporting this growth.
Key responsibilities for this role may include:
- Constructing the month end finance packs
- Producing drawdowns and distributions
- Prepare quarterly reports
- Preparing statutory accounts in accordance to the LPA's
- Monitoring daily liquidity and treasury aspects
- Responding to investor queries
- Reviewing fund mandates and investment legal documentation to ensure that funds are compliant
- Helping out with ad hoc projects, improvements and automations
What they are looking for in a candidate?
- Qualified Accountant
- Recent experience of private equity or venture capital fund accounting either for an investment firm/fund administrator
- Commercially minded, self-starter and able to challenge the status quo
Paying: Daily rate of £400-550pd inside of IR35 (via umbrella), depending on experience
Duration: 6-12 months ++
