My client is a leading Private Equity firm based in London with offices based near the Hyde Park/Green Park/Victoria areas.

They are looking for a Fund Accountant to join their team ASAP for an initial 12 month fixed term contract. This could later convert to a permanent position but initially, would just be a contract.

Main duties would include but are not limited to:

• Accounting for daily bank transactions across multiple bank accounts in EUR and USD, using Investran.
• Posting of ledger entries
• Assist in the preparation of investor reports and checking outputs
• Preparation of weekly cash flow forecasts
• Production of annual financial statements under UK and US GAAP
• Liaising with auditors
• Collecting quarterly portfolio company Fair Valuation data and working with deal teams
• Project work
• Ad hoc investor queries

The successful candidate will be newly ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent with hands on experience of financial statement preparation (ideally under US or UK GAAP). Experience with Investran is also a distinct advantage.

A Private Equity Fund background would be ideal but strong technical accounting skills would outweigh this. Candidates from a fund administration background are also encouraged to apply.

This client works on a hybrid basis with atleast one day spent working from home.
