Start your job searchI'm recruiting for a rare and very exciting Head of Finance opportunity with a rapidly growing FinTech start-up based out in Dubai.
Since inception 5 years ago the firm have disrupted the banking and online payments space in the UAE and have received several rounds of funding totalling at over $10m and have plans to continue branching out across other jurisdictions. They currently have a head count of 25 and their founders have a wealth of knowledge due to successful careers within Financial Services in the UK.
They are looking for a fully qualified accountant to come and join them and head up their Finance Function in a broad and varied role. Initially the role can be based out of the UK but the firm are keen for the individual to relocate and join the team in Dubai!
Your responsibilities will include;
- Managing all finance related matters for the business
- Preparing monthly financial and management reporting
- Preparing budgets and forecasts
- Preparing cashflow reports and forecast and manage relationships with banks
- Responsible for monthly payroll process
- Manage end-to-end audit process including relationships with external auditors
- Line management responsibilities of one junior team member
You must;
- Qualified Accountant
- Experience in a finance role within a Payments/FinTech firm
- Experience dealing with high volumes of transactions
- Confident and able to manage relationships with senior stakeholders
- Willing to relocate to Dubai
Salary on offer is up to £65k equivalent and Tax Free once you have left the UK.
