Role - Head of Finance Location - Manchester Salary - Anywhere between £80,000 and £95,000


Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for an SME services organisation in their search for a Head of Finance to work out of their office just outside Manchester city centre with occasional travel to other offices.


The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified and have previous experience of working within a commercially focused role. An ability to interpret large volumes of data and deliver impactful insights is essential. Advanced Excel skills are crucial and the Head of Finance will need to be able to develop strong relationships throughout the business and present information to non-finance personnel. The business is looking to go through an MBO so any exposure to an MBO, acquisitions, sales processes etc would be a distinct advantage. Key duties for the Head of Finance role will involve:

• Budgeting and forecasting
• Strategic financial planning
• Financial modelling
• Production of trading reports
• Present profitability and investor analysis to senior stakeholders
• Identify risks and opportunities
• Build a financial, planning and analysis function
• Management of finance team

Salary for the role is anywhere between £80,000 and £95,000 including benefits
