Start your job searchThis venture capital firm is one of the leaders in the UK and Europe. It has a fantastic management team and boasts a fantastic reputation within the industry. They are known for having invested in some of the most succesfull fin-tech firms of recent years.
They are looking for a Head of Finance to take full ownership of the finance and operations of the firm. It has one direct report and itself, reports into the Partners. The role is broad, commercial and challenging; it holds a variety of different responsibilities:
- Fund accounting and operations
- Planning analysis and structuring
- Legal and compliance
- Investment team support
- HR and other ad-hoc duties
The role is ideal for a candidate who is at Financial Controller level looking to make the step up into a leadership position. Someone with at least 5 years of post qualified experience is essential and prior experience within venture is not essential.
What is of most importance ot the firm is the culture. They right candidate may not have a background in funds but will need to have an enthusiasm for the venture space and be willing to work with a small team. They are a pioneering business built for the modern age so flexibility is the norm.
