Role - Head of Financial Reporting Location - Manchester Salary - Between £80,000 and £90,000 + benefits

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing financial services business in their search for a Head of Financial Reporting to work out of their offices based in central Manchester.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA qualified and the role would suit an individual that comes from an accountancy practice background. A history of working with Financial Services organisations is essential and any technical knowledge around Solvency II would be desirable. The ability to work to tight deadlines and build good relationships with the department heads and wider team is crucial. Key duties for the Head of Financial Reporting role will involve the following:

  • Management of all finance operations
  • Ensure month end reporting is filed accurately and on time
  • Production of statutory accounts
  • Management of the external audit process
  • Manage investment and liquidity reporting inclusive of cash-flow management
  • Lead on Solvency II regulatory reporting
  • Build strong relationships internally with the wider group
  • Manage a small finance team

Salary for the role is anywhere between £80,000 and £90,000 + benefits
