Delighted to be recruiting for a very successful OMB who has seen unprecedented growth over the last 18 months. The business has revenues in excess of £25m and is looking to recruit their first "top table" CFO to help lead and drive the finance team over the next 3-5 years. This role will sit alongside the COO and report directly into the CEO (founder) and still plays an integral part within the business.

As the CFO you will oversee a finance team of four but more importantly you will have a major role in the long term business plan and strategic direction over the coming years with a strong emphasis on relationships with external investors and advisors.

The duties will include but not exclusive to the below:-

• corporate structure in the UK and globally - with a view to find tax/ cost savings and structural efficiencies globally
• accounting relationships globally - ascertain whether our accountants/ partners are fit for purpose in each region and globally
• banking/ credit card relationships globally - ascertain whether fit for purpose in each region and globally
• existing cash management processes globally - can we more effectively manage the effects that our essential opportunistic buying habits affect cash
• opportunities for automation within current ERP & the other accounting & business systems
• daily/ weekly/ monthly reporting coming from Finance department
• any existing inefficient/ ineffective processes & procedures within the finance department (particular attention to credit control & debt collection, timely end of years accounts completion, export licenses, office lease maintenance)
• management of new legal/ financial contracts as they arise
• review of resource & staff capabilities in finance department
• planning to buy & build new Harrogate HQ in 2.5 years' time
• 5 year business planning / financial modelling

This is initially a six month project with a view to go permanent in the future, the successful candidate will have experience in an entrepreneurial business with the ability to drive change globally.
