Great opportunity to work with this impressive, acquisitive multi site manufacturing business to lead their finance team through the next 12 months.
The purpose of the role as well as leading the finance team, is to oversee the production of accounts, drive the year end audits & support M&A ad hoc projects.
Role responsibilities
Internal Control:
Group responsibility for:
- Managing, supporting and developing 3 direct reports - 2 x Management Accountants & Finance Analyst
- Month end process and review
- Group consolidation including holding companies
- Controlling year end process
- Budget review and 5-year plan
- Controlling external audit
- Internal control environment Inc. development of internal reporting to facilitate business decisions
- Oversee cash-flow, cash management & working capital.
New acquisitions / Integration:
- Support plan for business sale for 2-3 years, ensuring consistent financial data available in all businesses
- Review prospect acquisitions alongside FD
- Support process for sourcing acquisition & growth funding
- Support due diligence process alongside external investors
- Develop financial integration plan for new acquisitions Inc. personnel, process & reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely information is available for external funder.
Desired skills
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
- Manufacturing experience, ideally multisite
- Experience in growing and developing teams
- M&A experience.
