Interim Financial Controller/Financial Reporting - 6 Months Contract

A fantastic opportunity with a very well known organisation who is seeking a senior financial reporting/financial controller for a 6 month contract period, to help them through their year end period.

Day Rate £650-£800 per day via umbrella

Hybrid working - 2 days in the office

The successful candidate may be responsible for:

- Technical Accounting/Policy treatments of various statutory financial reporting elements under IFRS

- Contributing to the group's year end financial statements and disclosure notes

- Calculation/submission of VAT (partially exempt)

- Month end financial close and general ledger integrity

To be considered for this role you must:

- Be a qualified accountant (preferably ACA, ACCA), preferably external audit trained

- Have very strong technical accounting skills

- Strong financial controlling skills / VAT experience a big +

- Have worked in large organisations

- Confident and strong communication skills

- Management experience a big plus
