Interim Financial Controller

£350-£450 per day

Join this innovative, growing manufacturing organisation in a period of growth, in their technical Finance Team on a 3-6 months basis, which may lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Duties

  • Manage a medium sized team
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting results to the Group in line with accounting standards and the group reporting timetable
  • Support the preparation of the monthly local and group reporting (financial and non-financial) packs
  • Preparation of control account reconciliations for all the balance sheet accounts
  • Provision of local information in the preparation of the annual financial statements by Group
  • Undertake first review of monthly payroll outputs
  • Manage the finance elements of the buyback process
  • Liaison with the external auditors during the external audit process
  • Oversight and management of the supplier management framework
  • Interact with Group Tax functions to facilitate production of VAT and Corporation Tax returns
  • Cash flow forecasting and management and submission to Group
  • Forecasting the cost base as part of the forecasting & budget process
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of finance processes across the group
  • Liaise with clients and prospects regarding finance related matters including migration of paying direct debit files, due diligence, oversight and audit queries.

Key skills and experience needed

  • Experience of working in a food or manufacturing environment
