Investment Associate - Fund Manager - Dublin

Unique opportunity to join an Active Investment Manger here in Dublin.


Our client is focused on Investments within the ESG and Renewable Energy markets both domestically and globally with a current AUM of circa 4bln moving to 10 Bln in the coming 3 years.

As they continue to grow, they are now keen to secure the services of an ambitious and technically strong Investment Associate to join their Fund Manager team in Dublin.

If you have a background in Corporate Finance, Financial Modelling, Valuations or Investment Management this is an opportunity not to miss.

Main Duties:

  • Analysis and review of new investment opportunities across Europe, North America and other selected markets as required i.e Asia.
  • Conduct detailed financial modelling and valuation analysis and prepare investment papers and presentations for internal and external use.
  • Presenting investment papers and recommendations to Investment Committee.
  • Establish clear, detailed transaction plans, anticipating potential obstacles and plan how to overcome/accommodate these.
  • Managing the due diligence process & identifying key deal issues and areas where the firm could be exposed on a transaction.
  • Brief senior deal team members on key transaction issues prior to meetings.
  • Working with other internal teams and with external third-party advisors (banks, legal, financial, technical etc.).
  • Active focus on tax efficient structures, including working with external tax advisers as well as assisting in-house counsel with legal work including interaction with lawyers and document management.
  • Assist other team members to monitor the performance of portfolio companies, as well as help to implement operational changes and monetisation.


Experience:

The successful candidate will have gained at least 3-5 years' experience coming from a Corporate Finance, Investment Management, Investment Banking or Transaction Services background with excellent Financial Modelling, Due Diligence, Valuations and or broad Corporate Finance experience.

Excellent communication skills are vital to success of this role given the close work with the Investment Committee and global teams.
