The Role: Management Accountant

The Client: Boutique Investment Manager

The Location: London City Centre (3 -4 days in office)

The Role:

• Full ownership of Management Accounts for multiple entities on a monthly basis
• Management of all consolidated accounts and intercompany balances
• Managing weekly cashflow reports
• Variance Analysis - P&Ls and Trial Balance
• Supporting the CFO with Board Papers, Budgeting and adhoc reporting
• Completing the annual audit and producing financial statements
• Reviewing and consolidating the outsourced fund accountants work on a quarterly basis
• Management of the Accounts Payable / Receivable process

The Requirements:

• Part qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
• 3+ years experience in a Management Accounting role, ideally in Financial Services / Investment Management
• Experience with multiple entity and cross jurisdiction consolidation.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. AccountsIQ, Sage, NetSuite) and Excel.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Fund Accounting principles
• Understanding of investment fund structures, financial instruments, and performance metrics.
• Strong Excel proficiency with the ability to produce charts and management information packs.
