The details
The Role: Management Accountant
The Client: Boutique Investment Manager
The Location: London City Centre (3 -4 days in office)
The Role:
- Full ownership of Management Accounts for multiple entities on a monthly basis
- Management of all consolidated accounts and intercompany balances
- Managing weekly cashflow reports
- Variance Analysis - P&Ls and Trial Balance
- Supporting the CFO with Board Papers, Budgeting and adhoc reporting
- Completing the annual audit and producing financial statements
- Reviewing and consolidating the outsourced fund accountants work on a quarterly basis
- Management of the Accounts Payable / Receivable process
The Requirements:
- Part qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
- 3+ years experience in a Management Accounting role, ideally in Financial Services / Investment Management
- Experience with multiple entity and cross jurisdiction consolidation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. AccountsIQ, Sage, NetSuite) and Excel.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Fund Accounting principles
- Understanding of investment fund structures, financial instruments, and performance metrics.
- Strong Excel proficiency with the ability to produce charts and management information packs.
