Management Accountant (Temp to Permanent)

A well‑known and respected retail business is seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented Management Accountant to join the Finance team on a temp‑to‑perm basis. This role involves producing monthly management accounts, supporting wider teams through strong business partnering, and ensuring full statutory compliance. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and contributes proactively to business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts
• Ensure statutory compliance and meet reporting deadlines
• Partner with and support teams across the business
• Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts
• Highlight risks and opportunities to senior finance, offering solutions

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
• 3+ years' experience in a similar role (ideally retail/wholesale)
• Advanced Excel and strong systems knowledge
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Proactive, resilient, able to perform under pressure
• Collaborative team player with a can‑do attitude
