Management Accountant | 3 month contract | Lancashire | £330 - £400 per day

An established and fast-paced business is looking for a Management Accountant to support the finance team on a day rate basis (inside IR35). You'll play a key role in producing timely financial information, supporting decision-making, and driving improvements in reporting and controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly management accounts with detailed variance analysis.
• Produce monthly management accounts, including CoS and direct cost reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of statutory returns, including VAT.
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles.
• Maintain and monitor provision schedules and rebate schedules.
• Assist with external and internal audits.

About You

• ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified Accountant with experience in a similar role.
• FMCG or manufacturing experience is essential.
• High attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously when required.
• A proactive problem solver who can think around challenges and develop solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise effectively.
