I am delighted to working with a market leader on their search for a newly created management accountant. You will be reporting into a high performing Financial Controller.

Day to day duties will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for various groups, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Maintenance of accurate profit and loss reporting to reflect business performance, alongside balance sheets that present a true financial position.
• Production of KPI reports and other management information each month, accompanied by clear narrative and analysis.
• Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, with transparent explanation of reconciling items.
• Provision of variance analysis and commentary on financial trends to support management decision‑making.
• Identification and escalation of potential financial and operational risks to senior stakeholders.
• Contribution to budgeting and forecasting processes. working with senior stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Part qualified/finalist/newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Proven experience producing monthly management accounts and reporting packs
• Solid background in budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking
• Experience leading or supporting year-end audits
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience using BI tools (desirable)
• Proven ability to influence at senior level
