The Organisation Development/Design Consultant will report and support the HR Director. This OD specialist will have the responsibility to drive and coordinate Organisational design and development initiatives specific to the needs of the business and change transformation. This role can be homebased and occasional office for specific projects from time to time.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the HR Director and the HR change community and other key leadership stakeholders to design, develop, and implement organisational development and change management strategies to increase productivity, enhance Organisational performance, and help the business achieve its strategic objectives.
  • Solution and help deliver Engagement and Cultural the rollout of key initiatives.
  • Act as an ambassador point for OD work, associated activities and future focus
  • Develop consistent methodologies - Strategic Planning, Org Design, Change Management and meeting facilitation that supports increased effectiveness of the operating and engagement model
  • Design and implement OD services and capabilities to support the change agenda
  • Directly manage large scale and sensitive change management, organisational design/re-design, team building / team effectiveness projects
  • Ensure effective coordination and alignment of project and change management plans, communication, HR and Corporate initiatives.
  • Advise and lead on key OD and Engagement projects
  • technical knowledge and experience of developing policy to effect change
  • manage projects that will influence and impact on our organisational culture
  • an understanding of organisational culture and experience in an environment where positive change has been achieved
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • confidence to build effective working relationships with colleagues and partners
  • theoretical and practical project management knowledge, techniques and software tools
  • experience in risk management and/or change management
  • the ability to distil complex issues from multiple sources, including data sources, into clear options
  • negotiating and influencing skills
  • outstanding communication and inter-personal skills with a strong customer focus
  • experience of either Organisational Development; Human Resource management; Staff Engagement and Project Management.
