Start your job searchMarks Sattin are currently working with an East Yorkshire based client for the role of Payroll & Benefits Manager.
The Payroll & Benefits Manager will lead a team of 2, overseeing the smooth operation of payroll processing and the effective management of their benefits administration for around 1300 staff across the UK and ROI.
They are looking for a candidate with strong in-house Payroll Management experience and also has experience of managing and enhancing employee benefits programs.
For this position, they will pay up to £65,000 (DOE) plus bonus.
You will be expected to the in the office 1/2 days per week!
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing the Payroll team of 2, serving as the primary point of escalation for complex queries
- Overseeing the complete payroll cycle
- Payroll administration using iTrent
- Balancing and reconciling monthly payrolls
- Ensuring accurate PAYE reporting to HMRC for multiple payrolls with varying tax reference
- Providing exceptional service by addressing employee payroll and benefits inquiries, assisting in resolving payroll discrepancies and process any necessary corrections
- Conducting regular reviews of reward programs
- Contributing to the development and implementation of reward strategies
- Designing and implementing pay structures, including base pay, variable pay, and incentive plans for roles such as sales, aimed at attracting, motivating, and retaining talen
- Managing and enhancing employee benefits programs
- Managing relationships with external providers and consultants
