Marks Sattin Executive Search has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Financial Controller to join a diverse PE Backed Solutions-Based Commercial B2B that has gone through high growth mainly through M&A with significant revenue.

The company are a European leader in the sector with a wide range of exciting projects which they are looking to expand both in the public and private sector.

They are seeking a Senior Financial Controller to be part of their established team as a trusted professional to work closely in partnership with the group stakeholders and other financial resources across the group for future growth of the business.

As Senior Financial Controller responsibilities are broad and include being involved in the development of internal control culture in a high-growth and diverse environment, integration of acquired companies, supporting the countries in the application of controls and adoption of processes and guidelines, and the development of projects.

This role would be a great opportunity for someone who is looking to break into private equity-backed businesses or an individual who is looking to make a late move out of practice.

The ideal candidate:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA), preferably chartered
• A solid track record of accounting (IFRS) skills, ideally trained within the Big 4 having then moved to a commercial business. Our client would also consider a late mover out of practice
• Acquisitions and integrations experience in an international business
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel (preferably with knowledge of SAP FC)
• A flexible self-starter who can adapt to organisational changes
• Strong analytical and communication skills
