Private Credit Funds - Integration Project - 6m Contract

Our client, a leading Private Credit firm, is seeking an experienced consultant with a background in private credit funds accounting to oversee key finance and operations-related integration project post aquisition of a fund.

This role will require strong technical expertise around accounting and operations for private debt funds and project management skills.

  • Duration: 6 months +
  • Day Rate £600-£750 per day via umbrella, depending on experience.
  • Hybrid Working

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review the operating, reporting and data structures of the business to be integrated and understand how it operates.
  • Due diligence on current and historic fund reporting.
  • Set out a Target Operating Model of what the private credit funds business will look like when integrated into existing business.
  • Design a plan for funds reporting post aquisition.
  • Identify resourcing gaps for reporting and operations in London and Luxembourg.
  • Work closely with internal finance, operations, and legal teams to design and implement optimal operating model and ensure integrity of data and reporting post migration.
  • Write procedures manuals and documentation for gap analysis between models.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience leading fund accounting transitions, migrations or setting up new fund structures.
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA)
  • Familiarity with closed ended private credit assets, partnership accounting, waterfall models, and investor allocations.
  • Experience of writing business requirement documents.
  • Strong understanding of Luxembourg fund jurisdictions.
  • Experience of managing and implementing projects.
