Start your job searchThis leading private equity fund is looking to hire a finance professional to sit as a senior financial accountant to work in their London office.
The role is an ideal second move in private equity group finance; allowing you to leverage off your skills in a faster paced, more challenging environment. You will have exposure to all aspects of group finance and have the opportunity to take complete ownership of financial reporting; presenting to the board.
Some specific responsibilities include;
- Lead the financial reporting process into management and the Board
- Manage the existing financial reporting team
- Develop systems and processes to improve quality and timeliness of financial reporting
- Either lead or assist developing and running the firm's treasury function including related tax aspects
- Responsibility for and overseeing the Group structure, including a very complex ownership structure
- Manage the production of annual statutory accounts and interface with auditors as required
- Manage the annual budgeting process
- Oversee the preparation and filing of all regulatory returns to the FCA
- Interface and liaise with areas of mutual interest: Fund Control, Legal, Compliance, HR
- Monitor and / or manage relationships with external key third parties Responsibilities
- Work closely with advisers and others internally to ensure the firm is appropriately positioned with respect to tax compliance and to ensure that all UK/US/Lux tax risks are appropriately managed
The firm in question is a highly regarded private equity fund that has performed exceptionally well over the past decade leading to rapid growth in fund size and deployments. Entrepreneurship is at the heart of their culture alongside a commitment to high working standards; it is an environment that is challenging and rewarding.
The ideal candidate will be ACA qualified with 2-3 years' experience in group finance, private equity or other alternative asset management is the preferred background but candidates from other industries will be considered.
Remuneration will be in the region of £60,000 to £70,000 depending on experience, with excellent bonus potential and other benefits.
