Start your job searchA Senior Accounts Payable Assistant is needed for a 3 month temporary role for a tech company in Central London.
The role is 2 days per week in the office, 3 from home. It is a sole role looking after end-to-end AP and would suit a confident and proactive individual.
The Accounts Payable Assistant will:
- Manage the Global Accounts Payable function and maintain an accurate and complete Accounts Payable ledger across the group
- Assist with processing vendor invoices
- Prepare payment runs
- Perform bank reconciliations and payment to invoice matching on accounting software
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including accruals and prepayments and reconciliations
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors, resolve payment discrepancies or issues, and address inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments on Accounts Payable related matters (HR, IT, Marketing, etc.)
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend/document solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the Accounts Payable function
The ideal Accounts Payable Assistant will have:
- Strong Accounts Payable experience with exprience in a senior/ sole role
- Great communcation skills and be proactive in resolving queries
- Ideally have experience with process improvements
- Must have experience with prepayments and accruals
- Must have multicurrency reconciliations experience (essential)
