Marks Sattin is currently recruiting for a Senior IT Audit Manage - Data Risk who is supporting this exciting period of transformation. Working in the Group Internal Audit function you will be responsible for delivering independent, objective assurance across this transformation project.

Working closely with the Data Officer, you will be crafting out a new offering. Running two systems internally, you will be ensuring that the newly establish division on one system is evolving at a pace and have the ability to "level up" the old system to ensure legacy issues are rectified.

The responsibilities:

  • Deliver quality risk-based, value adding audits on a timely basis in line with methodology:
    • Assist with co-ordination and execution on larger, complex or specialist audits.
    • Review findings with management on a constructive basis in order to develop practical, innovative and value-adding solutions to audit issues identified.
  • Apply specialist and detailed technical Data risk expertise to produce high quality analysis and input into the technology risk assessment process and related audit plan.
  • Perform follow-up work ensuring management progress actions through to closure, validate they are appropriately resolved with supporting evidence or escalated in a timely manner.
  • Perform business monitoring to ensure the team is aware of changes in data activities and objectives, and a necessary audit response is developed.
  • Proactive interaction across the function to support delivery of departmental goals and to maintain high quality outputs including:
    • Deliver high quality management reporting as required to support audit activities at an individual and committee level.
    • Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing between Audit, Risk, Compliance and the IT function to help embed a robust risk management and control culture across the Group.

To be considered for this role you will have strong specialist knowledge of data governance practices, business process, data or information management, data flows, data relationships, data quality standards.
