Senior Finance Business Partner - Reading (2 days in office) - Salary to £85,000

Please note, to be considered for this role you must be based in the UK and have experience working within the Financial Services sector, Banking would be ideal.

As the Senior Finance Business Partner you will will act as the strategic lead for a specific business unit and be responsible for the delivery of financial analysis to drive strategic decision making whilst driving continuous improvement of business partnering to key stakeholders.

You will need to support the needs and priorities of your business unit, whilst working collaboratively across different departments, playing a key role in supporting and influencing business decision making to ensure the business achieves its strategic objectives.

Day to day you can expect to....

• Fully engage and participate in relevant leadership meetings, including Quarterly Business Reviews with the CEO, providing a commercial & strategic view of the business.
• Driving performance through proactive financial insight and analysis.
• Support the business unit MD in running the division as a senior member of the team
• Provide financial information and support on all aspects of the business, including but not limited to, budgetary management, regular forecasting, business performance analysis and management reporting.
• Lead the annual budget setting exercise for the business unit, challenging the Commercial Directors on their plans and advising on delivery of service in the most economic and effective manner.

Would we would like from you....

• Be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Outstanding financial modelling, analytical and commercial acumen.
• Confident, self-starter with strong presentation skills.
• Evidence of driving change throughout a company or function.
