Marks Sattin is currently recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor working for a nationally recognised business, delivering risk based, and objective assurance across the organisation.
This organisation plays an integral part in individuals everyday life, giving you the chance to add real value add and be part of a team that is highly valued.
You will be supporting management in achieving its strategic purposes by providing independent, timely assurance and advice over its risk management.
In the role you will:
- Shape and deliver different styles of audit, including controls audits, programme audits, action plan audits and culture audits, to expected time, cost and quality standards.
- Steward and peer review the delivery of audits and investigations.
- Draft impactful reports, including the use of dashboards for visual effect.
- Carry out audit and advisory work in response to adhoc requests from the business.
- Liaise with other assurance providers to understand the wider assurance coverage in the area being audited.
- Build and maintain relationships with the business and work with subject matter experts on specific audits.
- Promote effective risk management and the development of best practice internal control frameworks.
- Work as a team to deliver Internal Audit's objectives.
- Make best use of data and technology to provide insight efficiently and effectively.
- Be a subject matter expert in audit policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditor's Professional Standards and the Internal Audit Quality Management System.
- Improve resilience and engagement through personal development and by acting as a coach to junior or non-audit staff.
- Demonstrate and promote the agreed Risk and Audit culture and behaviors.
This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is part or full qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, IIA) and looking for a new opportunity. You will have the ability to deliver or lead multiple audits and projects at once, ensuring delivery to agreed time, cost and quality standards.
