With more investment and focus on risk, my client has been able to create an opportunity for an experienced Internal Auditor to add addition support to the Internal Audit function. The market has continued to provide a high level of uncertainty however due to the nature of the industry, mu client has been protected from any initial down turn in work and has continued to operate successfully and their product offering has been unaffected.
Working alongside the Head of Internal Audit & Risk, you will be responsible for:
- Delivery of a wide spectrum of internal audit assurance reviews designed to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of the governance, risk management and control frameworks.
- Support the on-going evolution and embedding of Risk Management Framework to ensure that risks are identified, understood and mitigated to an acceptable level.
- Determine and develop the standards and framework for internal audit activity and reporting to ensure it remains aligned to best practice and the international professional practices framework.
- Provide assurance to the Board, Executive Committee and other stakeholders on the effectiveness of the internal control framework to encompass - sufficiency relative to risk, adequacy relative to desired outcome and evidence of application and testing
