Start your job searchSenior Management Accountant reporting into the FC - 14 Months (Mat Cover)
Responsibilities:
- Business partner to operational areas, providing support to track costs, adding value to assist decision making.
- Produce scenario-based models to assess different approaches.
- Full Financial control responsibility and ownership for all operational costs and separate entities.
- Ensure prompt and accurate month end reporting.
- Report on and control variances to budget and reforecasts and provide insightful commentary.
- KPI reporting.
- Annual budgets, reforecasts and rolling cost forecasts for operational areas working with various Heads of Departments.
- Prepare detailed and meaningful schedules of accruals and prepayments for each area and taking ownership of the Balance sheet reconciliation, produced within agreed timescales to ensure controls compliance.
Must have:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Proven experience of management accounting and business partnering preferably within FMCG / Retail business / Logistics
- Strong Excel skills (LOOKUPs, SUMIFs, basic macros)
