The Role: Senior Research Associate - Investment Strategy

The Client: Renowned Pension Investment Fund

The Location: City of London

The Responsibilities:

• Develop market and economic insights as well as investment processes to support the investment strategies
• As lead macroeconomic and qualitative market researcher present relevant macro narrative to the investment committee
• Lead thematic research, maintaining perspective on the drivers of changes in the global economy and associated return drivers in liquid and private assets, as well as FX.
• Contribute to the oversight of the strategic and tactical asset allocation processes.
• Create and develop client reporting with macro-narratives as well as white papers, quarterly macroreport etc

The Requirements:

• Strong investment market literacy within the pension fund industry
• Passion for all areas of macro / thematic research and investments
• Well experienced in a similar position - comfortable directing the business in this area on what considerations need to be made
• Strong investment analysis and/or consulting experience with a focus on multi-asset solutions - public markets knowledge is required (equities, bonds etc) with private markets a huge advantage (infrastructure, RE, PE)
