Solution Architect - 2 year fixed term contract



A world renowned facilities and property management business based in central London is looking to hire a Solution Architect with demonstrable integration skills to join its growing internal architectural centre of excellence.



This is a hybrid role and is initially a 2 year fixed term contract, with a subsequent option to go perm.



The firm is undergoing a period of significant digital transformation, and the Solution Architect will play a key role in defining the strategy, principles and target architectures for the organisation's digital solutions, with a primary focus on integration.



In addition, the Solution Architect will be responsible for defining the strategy and roadmap for core business applications supporting business critical functions such as asset and facilities management, HR, finance and sales.



Key Responsibilities


  • Part ownership of the digital landscape, in particular the integration platform
  • Identify, manage and govern the integration across the systems landscape to ensure a consistent and efficient data exchange process and solution is implemented,
  • Fully understand the solution landscape across the firm, covering integration technologies, line of business applications, digital workplace technologies, data management and analytics technologies.
  • Engage with vendors to assess solution suitability
  • Lead and guide internal engineering teams



Experience




  • Proven experience in solution design / architecture and solution implementation
  • Well versed in integration technologies and best practice
  • Knowledge and understanding of Azure technologies (Integration, API's, Logic Apps and Frameworks)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering
  • Experience in managing third-party vendors including tender reviews
