Tax Accountant / Leeds - Hybrid / £45,000 - £55,000 + Excellent Benefits

Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing international organisation to recruit a Tax Accountant into their central Finance team based in Leeds.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified tax professional to take ownership of a broad range of tax responsibilities within a dynamic, fast-paced business. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate tax reporting, supporting ongoing process improvements, and collaborating closely with teams across Finance and other business functions.

The Role

Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a wide variety of tax compliance and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation and submission of VAT returns for UK and Irish entities.
• Completion of corporation tax packs and returns.
• Preparation of CIS, RCT, landfill tax, and PSA returns.
• Assisting with Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) requirements.
• Identifying opportunities for tax efficiencies and process improvements.
• Supporting with budgeting, forecasting, and responding to group-level tax queries.
• Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of external submissions and statutory reporting.
• Partnering with other teams to maintain tax compliance and drive continuous improvement.

About You:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong tax experience, either from practice or industry.
• Good understanding of UK taxation and accounting standards.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
