Start your job searchPE Backed DTC/Subscriptions eCommerce business is currently looking for a Tax Manager to join their growing team. This is a newly created position and looking for this role to develop into a Head of Tax as the team and the business continues to grow.
Reporting into the CFO, you will lead the tax function and provide strategic tax advice to the business. You will be responsible for managing the tax planning, compliance, and risk management for the company. The role will also involve working closely with internal stakeholders to identify and implement tax savings opportunities and ensuring compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive tax strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives
- Manage the tax planning, compliance, and risk management for the company
- Provide strategic tax advice to senior management and other stakeholders
- Identify and implement tax savings opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors
- Develop and maintain internal tax policies and procedures
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax returns and other tax filings
You will be a CTA qualified accountant either (1) within practice looking to make your first move out (2) qualified in practice and have been in-house for a number of years (3) trained within a commercial business. Experience of UK Corporate Tax is essential, with international tax exposure a nice to have. Experience working for a consumer, FMCG, subscriptions business would be highly desirable.
