Marks Sattin are currently working with a Manufacturing company based in Sherburn in Elmet for the role of Accounts Assistant. The role will be a great step up for a candidate who would like to get involved in more month end activities while they complete their AAT qualification.

The company will help candidates with their AAT studies and will also pay up to £28,000.

The position is an office based role, with free parking on site on a full time basis (37.5 hours).

It would be highly beneficial if you had SAP experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Process accounts payable authorised invoices.
• Process authorised expenses and cash expenses.
• Process resale invoices
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and distribute liquidity report.
• Maintain fixed asset register which includes capitalisation of plant and equipment as per company policy.
• Complete and assist with the submission of the company VAT return.
• To assist with month end process by performing currency, accruals, prepayment, depreciation and other required journals.
• Assist with the External Auditors by providing necessary documentation
• To provide cover to the credit control

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role.
• PQ AAT Qualified
• Use of SAP is beneficial
