With 2020 behind us and 2021 having started on a much brighter foot investment has returned to the Irish market. Having had almost 12 months of a hiatus confidence is returning to the domestic and global market and thus transaction levels having started to increase dramatically.
With pipelines as strong as they have been in 12 months our client is keen to capitalise on the positivity returning to the market and are seeking to retain the services of an Associate Director within their Transaction Services business across the Corporate Finance landscape.
Details in brief….
- Our Transaction Support business aims to assist clients throughout the entire transaction process, and works closely with other specialists both within other Service Lines (Transaction tax, Process & Operations, M&A, and Regulatory etc).
- Whilst traditional financial due diligence is a key element of our work, transaction support is much broader, incorporating assistance with strategic assessment, transaction management, negotiation and documentation, and post-completion processes.
- As a senior team member you will be contributing to the shaping of the go-to-market proposition, the development of our key strategic relationships and the enhancement of our profile in the deals market
- Typically, you will lead a team to analyse the financial and operational results of companies targeted by reviewing financial information and participating in interviews with management.
- Based on understanding the key business drivers, prepare and review analyses of historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact funding requirements and deal valuation
- Project manage teams and stakeholders while working on forming strong internal links within transaction support and other departments in both the Ireland and internationally to form multi-disciplinary teams
- Be an advocate for embracing digital disruption and the insight available from data analytics to enhance how we collaborate and work with our clients
- Play an important role in business plan initiatives (e.g. key accounts, recruitment, client service framework)
- Work on developing our commercial and technical client offerings.
On offer….
A superb opportunity to join the business at Associate Director Level with a distinct possibility of moving through the ranks to Director in a short space of time given the current trajectory of the business.
A positive track record across Transaction Services and or Corporate Finance is key to the success of this role. Exposure to Financial Services is seen as a positive however not a pre requisite at all as is coming from a Professional Services, Investment Banking or Capital markets background.
This will remain an attractive option for a driven individual who sees themselves very much in a partner role in the coming years and this will allow for that growth.
