An exceptional opportunity for a Corporate Development Executive (qualified accountant) to develop and demonstrate a wide range of skills while driving real business change across an ambitious organisation.

This role will accelerate business development across a leading PLC business through outstanding financial support. This role requires a unique candidate demonstrating a broad range of skills covering, but not limited to; M&A delivery, investment analysis, financial modeling, investor relations and commercial support across broad services covering different areas in this FTSE 250 organisation.

Duties and responsibilities This role requires the holder to perform a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Supporting business leaders in making strategic decisions
  • Building experience in supporting debt market and M&A transactions with a view to leading these projects within 12-18months
  • Supporting Executive Team with strategic analysis, insight and action
  • Coordinating various stakeholders to improve business performance
  • Preparing and ultimately presenting major strategic initiatives at a Board level

Qualifications & Characteristics The candidate must be:

  • Sufficiently resolute and determined to overcome obstacles in order to complete projects
  • Capable of excellent stakeholder management ranging from Board level to junior staff
  • IT literate with particularly strong financial modelling skills
  • Able to handle multiple projects at any one time
  • Influence senior and junior stakeholders in order to drive business change
  • Be exceptionally organised and capable of managing projects from inception to completion
  • Comfortable to make timely recommendations supported by appropriate levels of information
  • Experienced in financial analysis

The successful candidate will be an experienced Corporate Finance specialist, from industry, Transaction Services or Consulting. You will have exposure to M&A activity, understanding the transaction processes through the deal's lifecycle.

You will be a confident, motivated and able to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. You will have an entrepreneurial mindset coupled with an ability to drive commercial thinking in a fast-paced environment.     • Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail industry experience
    • Big Four Trained(PWC, Deloiite, KPMG, EY)
