As Data Protection Manager you will ensure this growing group is fully compliant with GDPR and all data protection laws and regulations. Roles & Responsibilities
- Draft and Implement all procedure's for GDPR compliance programme.
- Act as the business' representative with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) on all potential breaches and complaints ensuring requests are properly dealt with.
- Process and implement privacy impact assessment.
- Maintain, update and enforce the organisations data protection policy.
- Work within all departments ensuring data is stored and handled correctly.
- Roll out training to all staff raising awareness of Data Protection and fostering a data privacy culture throughout the firm.
- DPA Compliance Audits.
- Work with Head of Compliance on all Compliance issues.
Success Profile
- Experience in Information Governance, data protection and regulatory change.
- Project Management experience with success in leading projects to successful implementation
- Expert knowledge of all Data Protection Laws UK and EU with sound working knowledge of GDPR
- Awareness of information systems to determine how processes need to be developed.
- Working knowledge of Risk Management, information security, data protection and data privacy principles and practive
- Recognised Qualifications : CIPP, ISEB, CRISC, GDPR (F), GDPR(Pr)
- Experience as : Data Protection Officer, Data Protection Manager, Data Privacy Officer, Data Privacy Manager, Information Governance Officer, Information Governance Manager, Information Compliance Officer, Information Compliance Manager, GDPR Programme Manager, GDPR Project Manager, GDPR SME, DPO
