Director of Operations - Private Equity / Private Debt
This boutique investment manager is looking for a Director of Operations for their private equity and private debt team.
Head quartered in New York but with a strong London presence, this boutique fund manager is well known despite its relatively small head count - sub 100. The role itself works in a team of 4 and reports directly into the COO.
The day to day of the role involves oversight of the necessary funds from both an operational and compliance perspective, overview of quarterly fund accounting, oversight of the annual audits, assisting in the take on process and transaction/deal support; taking full operational and financial responsibility. With this in mind, prior Private Equity or Private Debt experience is crucial due to the nature of the responsibilities held. Further to this, you will work closely with the investor relations and marketing teams to provide regular portfolio analysis for investors.
Experience and aptitude is most important, there is no necessary finance or accounting qualifications required. It is likely that this candidate comes from a leading, global investment house, either a well known hedge fund or an established private equity fund; but they are open to other ideas.
The salary is competitive and will be dependant on current package but £90,000 - £100,000 is a rough benchmark. They offer a generous discretionary bonus and benefits package on top also.
If this is of interest or you would like to hear more information, please do not hesitate to apply.
