Management Accountant

Harrogate

Working as part of the finance team, you will report into the Financial Controller as a Management Accountant. The role will be responsible for monthly management accounting and some commercial finance too.

Duties

• Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including generating MI reports
• Keep the accounts system up to date and reconcile monthly
• Business partner the commercial teams
• Manage the balance sheet
• Review and analyse overheads
• Prepare business forecasts for consolidation and review by the FC (balance sheet, purchasing and stock, headcount etc)
• Support the wider finance team including the Purchase and sales ledger clerk
• Assist with audits

Experience required

• A fully qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent. Will also consider QBE
• Strong Management Accounting experience
• Strong commercial business acumen - able to work as part of the wider business with no financial stakeholders
• Advanced excel skills
• A candidate with a positive attitude, able to work autonomously
• Strong work ethic
