A super opportunity to gain experience in a large multinational organisation supporting public sector projects. The successful applicant with have previous accounts administration experience in public sector or high compliance environment.

The individual will provide support to a busy finance team with a strong control environment and compliance culture. Core to this role is the responsibility for coordinating financial administration for large funds and completion of other key tasks as required

Duties will include

  • Manage the financial administration process and any miscellaneous income streams of the organisation to tight timeframes including administering the invoicing and payment process
  • Provide support to the fortnightly payroll processes, including liaising with HR, payroll providers and Revenue ensuring accurate and high-quality processing and reporting within the timelines.
  • Ensure month-end close is completed and all reconciliations are carried out according to schedule and controls
  • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure services are being delivered in line with service expectations
  • Document, update, implement existing and new policies and procedures and ensure they are communicated to the team and other stakeholders
  • Input into the preparation of the annual budget and financial statements process
  • Collaborate on projects as part of a continuous improvement program, including the utilisation of technology and financial systems to streamline business processes. Coordinate and assist in the development of Finance Systems upgrades, enhancements and process developments both within the team and related control cycles.
  • Provide administrative system support for Agresso

Requirements for the Role

  • Hold a minimum of a NFQ degree level 7 qualification;
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong MS Office and MS Excel skills.
  • Have at least three years experience in a finance administration role;
  • Strong MS Office and MS Excel skills;
  • Experience working with the financial modules of Agresso or similar finance software;
  • Strong attention to detail.
