Marks Sattin is working with a growing business in the Leeds area to recruit a Finance Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience across Accounts Payable and month-end/management accounts duties within a supportive and collaborative finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Complete reconciliations including bank and supplier statements.
• Process accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset postings.
• Manage purchase ledger and company credit card transactions.
• Support cash management, intercompany transfers, and payment runs.
• Assist with audit preparation and ad hoc finance projects.
• Act as first point of contact for supplier queries via shared inbox.

About You

• Previous experience in a finance role is essential.
• AAT qualified or studying (or equivalent) desirable.
• Strong Excel skills (vlookups and pivot tables advantageous).
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
