One of the most establish and highly regarded Real Estate Investment and Development Companies seeks a talent and amitious Finance business Partner with cost experience to come on board in an all encompassing role.

Following an internal promotion and the development of this positon the business requires a talented individual who can provide control and support to business functions with a wide ranging remit to challenge the business on corporate costs.

Repsonsibilities include:

  • Working with senior corporate management to help them understand the levers they can pull to better manage costs and identifying ways to drive efficiencies and reduce costs.
  • Manage the corporate departmental P&L, leading the budgeting & forecasting processes for corporate costs to provide intuitive analyses for department heads;
  • Developing a cost control mind set within the Group, and working closely with the Head of Procurement to identify and challenge the business on cost, along with identifying opportunities to add value;
  • Provide strong control & review input / guidance over corporate expenditure, being pro-active in identifying and mitigating potential issues;
  • Provide insight and financial understanding for quarterly reporting for the various corporate business departments;
  • Manage reporting on technical accounting areas such as share based payments and pensions;
  • Work on "special" projects as required.
  • Line manage an experienced financial accountant, who supports the Corporate Cost Controller;

This role is aimed at someone who can come in and hit the ground running, there previous experience in a cost accounting role is essential so is business facing experience. You'll need to be outgoing, communicative and approachable with a proactive attitude and ambitious nature. Top academics are required (solid undergraduate degree or equivalent) and preferably ACA/CA/ACCA qualified.

It would be advantageous to have some real estate or fund management experience however we are open on industry to people who can bring strong technical accounting skills to the table in addition to a driven and tenacious personality able to influence and encourage change across the business.
