Marks Sattin have been retained in sourcing a Finance Business Partner on a full time, permanent basis for a Services sector client.
Working closely with the Operational side of the business on multiple projects and contracts, the successful candidate will monitor, review, analyse and challenge all aspects of the projects/contracts, being the link between them and finance. Please note that the role is 50% travel and 50% home working. The travel being to a number of locations within the UK. The key duties entailed are:
- Relationship building with Operational teams
- Development of Operational KPIs
- Weekly and monthly reporting, including; project performance, costings analysis and Capex
- Budgeting and forecasting of contracts making sure that they are challenging yet achievable
- Robust accounting of monthly management accounts, balance sheet creations per contract keeping within company constraints and budgets
- Inputting financial controls to monitor performance, capacity, and frameworks
- Management and development a a 5 strong team
Key skills:
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience of operating in an Construction/Services based environment
- A wealth of experience with both finance and non-finance employees, inputting change to create efficiencies
- 3 PQE Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
