Currently recruiting for a large manufacturing group for the appointment of a Finance manager on a FTC basis for a nine month period. This role will directly report to the Head of Finance but you will also work closely with the GFC and various Directors across the group; involving a mixture of financial and management reporting.

This is a fast paced organisation going through change and most definitely a project with various "moving parts", the role is fluid but will include the below responsibilities.

• Ensure all month end activities for the function are delivered to deadline and without compromising on quality
• Ensure all budgeting and forecasting activities for the function are completed to deadline and to a high standard
• Business partner the operational management team.
• Balance sheet reconciliation and control.
• Income statement and cash flow forecasting.
• Coach and assist other team members to ensure the team and its members perform to a high standard overall and continue to develop
• Can understand and interpret accounting standards, assisting with audit queries and writing technical papers as & when required
• Assist in the preparation of accurate and high-quality financial statements
• Use accounting and systems knowledge to assist and guide others internal and external to finance (SAP)

It is imperative the successful candidate has manufacturing experience in a large company and isn't fazed by hard work and long hours as it is a turnaround project. Must be able to start with 3-4 weeks and able to commit to at least a nine month period, SAP ERP system knowledge and advanced Excel skills is a huge advantage.
