Marks Sattin is working in partnership with an established business with a unique mindset, located in Bristol to recruit a Finance Manager on a 18 month FTC contract. This role is covering Mat leave that will provide support to the finance function, supporting a small team whilst liaising with business partners across the business.

This role will be paying between £65k and £75k per annum with excellent benefits that include a 15% pension, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays & funded medical care.

Finance Manager Role:

You will support with key activities in the finance function including taking ownership of 4 direct reports, they will need guidance support to help their progression, friendly team so need to be a people person. Daily activities include looking after ownership forecasting process and reporting, working with the business partners, and driving areas of process improvement and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Overseeing the balance sheet reconciliation.
• Monthly variance analysis, providing commentary to business partners.
• Forecasting and managing budgets of up to £500m.
• Managing audit deliverables.
• Drive process improvement in system and controls.
• Oversee the production of management accounts.
• Oversight and input into visualisation tools such as PowerBI.
• Line management experience of minimum of 4.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent
• Background in management accounting/core principles.
• Exposure of a multi entity/matrix style organisation.
• Strong excel skills including a large data set manipulation tools such as PowerBI.
• Management experience.
