Marks Sattin are delighted to be recruiting for a Finance Manager for leading Manchester business. This pivotal role involves managing comprehensive finance operations, performing balance sheet reconciliations, enhancing procedures and controls, and handling various projects and requests as needed.
Responsibilities: Generate and analyse monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets, gaining a deep understanding of financial outcomes.
Lead, manage, and develop the finance team.
Conduct variance analysis to support daily P&Ls and month-end accounts.
Serve as the main contact for stakeholders, explaining financial performance and position.
Produce and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
About you:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/ACMA accountant
- Experience in a similar role in a fast paced environment is essential
- Experience with working alongside and influencing senior stakeholders; both financial and non-financial
- Strong analytical skills required in order to identify and remediate risks
- Ability to investigate, understand and explain variances and overall business performance
