The Job: Senior Financial Accountant

The Client: Venture Capital Firm
The Location: City of London

The Opportunity:

A Global VC firm focused on fintech and the financial media sector is looking to take on a strong number two to report into their FC. Small sized finance function of 4 within a boutique VC environment, you would have a broad exposure across both the corporate and portfolio accounting.

The Responsibilities:

• Report to the portfolio businesses and take leadership over their finance functions
• Preparation and review of monthly management reporting packs, cash flow forecasts, variance and performances primarily for portfolio business
• Work with the FC on the annual, quarterly and monthly requirements for the VC.

The Role:

• Qualified accountant with several years experience ideally within a VC
• Worked across the media sector an advantage
• Strong process improvement experience
