This leading American-owned Technology Company based in London’s Canary Wharf is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant on a six month contract to join the finance team as soon as possible. Applicants to this role will ideally be at Finalist level of their CIMA/ACCA qualifications and have previous experience working in a larger corporate environment. The main duties and responsibilities in this role will include:

§ Preparation of accounts, submission of financial statements and reporting schedules for monthly, quarterly and annual corporate deadlines.
§ Preparation and maintenance of month end files, including the monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
§ Reconciliation and settling of inter-company accounts.
§ Compliance with all relevant corporate finance policies, accounting standards and SOX controls.
§ Liaising across the business to resolve queries and reconciling items.
