We are delighted to be working with this rapidly growing organisation in the fintech arena who are looking to add to their Finance function with the creation of a new role for a Financial Accountant, due to team expansion.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join this exciting business and help scale their management accounts function, in a No 2 role to the Finance Manager. More specifically your duties will include the following:

• Implementing financial processes and controls around the company operations, involving the collaboration with internal and external stakeholders of the business and input into the creation of a data warehouse.
• Ensuring timely and accurate reporting into the general ledger system.
• Various monthly processes and reconciliations to both source systems and external data feeds to ensure the accuracy of month-end reporting.
• Reconciliation of savings balances and accrued interest.
• Analysing data output to ensure veracity of numbers, and being able to confidently speak to those numbers to senior stakeholders within the business.
• Communications with and reporting to external stakeholders.
• Supporting the Finance Operations Manager in the creation of the monthly reporting pack in accordance with IFRS.
• Preparation of journal entries ensuring detailed support and accuracy of entries.

Ideally you will be a qualified Accountant with 0 - 3 years PQE who is keen to progress, in an inclusive environment where new ideas are openly encouraged and implemented.
