A career propelling opportunity has arisen at a leading International Mid Market Private Equity firm for an aspiring FD or CFO of the future. Reporting to the CFO, this role will focused on all corporate accounting and business partnering for the management company entity in the UK. This will include:

- Oversee the monthly Finance Board pack, including management accounts, commentary and analysis
- Manage the annual budget process
- Forecast medium and long-term business plans
- Oversee production of annual statutory accounts and interface with auditors as required
- Manage FX and cash deposits (Treasury management)
- Partner with Tax on VAT and Corporate Tax issues as required
- Interface and liaise with areas of mutual interest: Funds Administration, Legal, Compliance, HR
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including FCA returns
- Prepare quarterly cost centre reports and other ad-hoc reports as required
- Manage, develop and lead a team of 3
- Review and sign-off on monthly payroll

Your background is likely to be:

- University educated with a 2.1 degree and ACA / CA qualified or equivalent
- Similar experience as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller role within the financial services sector. Private equity experience isn't essential but a broad skill set across financial, management and regulatory accounting is key.
- First class communication skills with the ability to present to Partner and Board / ExCo level on complex finance matters
- Plenty of personality, charisma and gravitas
- Proven staff management and leadership credentials
